His Imperial Majesty, Dr. Mishak Nnanta, President General of the Igbo World Union, led a distinguished delegation from the Igbo World Union Brazil. The team included Dr. Alexcolman, Interim President; Chief Okenwa; Counsellor Magnus; and Innocent Emeka Aroh. Their visit was centered on a strategic meeting with Iara Bento, a prominent political figure and advocate against racial discrimination and inequality in São Paulo State.
The meeting was held in the Cabinet of Teonilio Barba at ALESP, providing an institutional backdrop for discussions rooted in unity, inclusion, and collaboration.
From the onset, Congresswoman Iara Bento welcomed the Igbo delegation with warmth and openness. Following formal introductions, she shared her personal and political journey in combating racism and social inequality in Brazil.
